Finding events in your city
If you live outside Iran and want to know what is on for you or the Iranian community in your city, you can choose a city, browse categories and search by date. You do not need to share your precise location to use search.
Planning a trip
If you are travelling to another city or country, you can search for your destination and see its events before you go. Check each event's date, time, venue and status; the cities listed and the number of events are not the same for every destination.
For anyone interested in Iranian artists and culture
ShabAvaz is not only for Persian speakers. A show, concert or cultural programme may be held in another language yet still be connected to Iranian artists, themes or communities. Each event's description and source help you decide whether it is right for you.
For people suggesting an event
Organisers, artists, venues, or anyone who knows about a relevant event will be able to suggest it for review once the submission form is open. The ShabAvaz team reviews the information and may get in touch to complete it. Submitting a request does not guarantee publication or a featured place.
